Albert Terrace

Location : St. Martins

My clients were inspired by my 2018 Superhome and wished for a similar design on their section in St. Martins. The location, contour of the land and some other must-haves resulted in a quite different home, which is nonetheless as space saving and as energy efficient as the Superhome 2018.

On the ground floor are two bedrooms, one bathroom, an entry area and open plan living, dining and kitchen. The double garage is accessible from the entrance area.



On the mezzanine floor is the main bedroom with a WIR and an ensuite. A gallery with lots of storage cupboards underneath the sloping roof is leading to a balcony with views into the Port hills and valleys.

Although the living space is located to the south east, the airtight and windtight construction based on Passive House principals will make this home comfortable and energy efficient.

• high level of insulation (Knauf Earthwool)
• recessed thermally broken aluminium windows, double-glazed, LowE and Argon- filled
• LED lighting
• Heat Recovery and Ventilation System
